Okay then, forgive me for, well, thinking that because someone is making the judgment that I have a pro-Khmer Rouge “fetish,” based on admittedly, not bothering to read the blog through properly, seems a bit silly. Of course it is boring! If you’re interested, you’re interested! If not, then you won’t bother going there. It’s pretty much niche and as simple as that.

Is this the Cambodian/Cambodian interest blogger equivalent of the “which regiment were you in?” routine, to suss fakers?

I wonder what is fetishistic about wanting to share a better understanding of Cold War politics in Southeast Asia than an identikit going “to find oneself” gapper. The effects are still being felt today, no matter how many undergraduates spend a few days in Siem Reap with their backpacks on. What “sort of guys” are you referring to exactly?
