Learning the language

Except for being a bit time-consuming, Jinja today offers up what otherwise sounds like a foolproof method of learning the letters of the Khmer alphabet — all 73 of them.
At the beginning of my stint, I went to an army surplus store and bought an armload of t-shirts. With a black marker scribbled a khmer consonant or vowel on the front. I wore one a day, and by the time the course was over, I had my alphabet down cold.
If you need help, Khmerang has got this handy flash thing with the 33 consonants, as well as assurances that a vowel version is coming. Soon. Maybe.
On a related note, Wanna proudly gave the almighty Google his credit card number and in return got this web site.
